So Many Movies.

I finally watched Titanic.

This is going to sound pathetic, but I actually read the documentary of Titanic a LONG time ago. Like the real one with all the facts about the incident and blah blah blah. It was a school thing though so I didn't really have a choice. Anyways..

After witnessing the hype around the movie for all these years, I honestly thought that Titanic was going to be an amazingly tragic love story which will blow my mind. And I will be bawling my eyes out by the end of it. And feel stupid for not watching it earlier.

Well... that didn't happen.

I'm not saying it was terrible and that I regret watching it, I just don't think it's as incredible as everyone seems to think it is. The story itself is great, but I think the movie was dragged out way too much, it really didn't need to be 3 hours long.

I have to admit though, the ship was replicated perfectly, it all looked so real and believable. Also, Leonardo Dicaprio was in it, which makes it ten times better for me :P
The acting was great and I'm glad I finally watched it. Even though I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to see it again, I still think it's one of those movies that every one should watch.

----

I also watched Remember Me, which was okay.
But more importantly, The Hunger Games is releasing in a few days! I'M SO EXCITED I MIGHT DIE.
The Vow, another movie I really want to watch, is releasing on the same date (I know it has already released in other countries but we had to wait a few more weeks until it released here.)

"The Vow Poster"

No more doodles to post because I haven't been drawing much. I'm actually working on my novel quite a lot these days and I think I'm finally starting to figure it out. I know I've been saying this for months and yes, I do plan to tell you guys what it's about eventually, but first I need to find out myself, everything just keeps changing so I'm still tweaking and adjusting a lot of the plot.

---

I've been spending a lot of time on my Tumblr. So much that I wonder what I used to do with my life before I started using it. I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about :P
If you have one, give me the link :D

P.S. I have a 'mock' driving test tomorrow. I just learnt how to park last lesson (which was a week ago) and I've already forgotten the steps. I'm so screwed. Wish me luck!

P.P.S Since I have a few hours to kill before I go to bed, I'm gonna watch 10 Things I Hate About You again. I just love that movie! It's so cute. And plus, it's on youtube so I don't need to buy or download it :D
If you haven't watched it, YOU SHOULD. Heath Ledger!

  5. I watched Titanic when I was in elementary and it's the reason why I'm afraid of the sea (at night). But I think it's good, made me cry.

Remember me: I didn't finish it. I don't like Robert (unless he's a vampire or a wizard in Hogwarts) Hehe.

  9. This post reminds me of the first time I watched Titanic. I was about 8 at that time, and I was like 'HUH?' when I saw the steamy kissing scene in the car and all the erotic stuff. Thankfully my innocence was still intact at the time, due to my inability to recognize sexual intimacy. @_@

The Hunger Games is supposed to be a trilogy, right? Are they gonna compress all three tomes into one movie? But I can tell that the movie will be EPIC ^w^

And good luck for your driving test! In case you've forgotten the steps, just keep an eye on both mirrors and it will come to you. :D

  10. I like Titanic but I don't think I'd want to watch it again. I hate the ending. It annoys me. It's far too sad and Rose could have moved over lol

And I'm really looking forward to The Hunger Games - hope it ain't shit!

  14. I watched Titanic like 3x when I was younger. I don't plan on watching it again. I agree with you. It's not bad nor is it way too good either, though a must watch. :)

  15. I have yet to see the Titanic, even though I think I'd like to, just because. I'm not sure if I'd enjoy it though - I'm a hopeless romantic and into the whole tragedy thing. *meh*

Remember Me was alright. I wouldn't say it was my favourite movie but it wasn't terrible.

Aaah OMG I luuurve 10 Things I Hate About YOu. It is reeeaally cute and I <3 Heath Ledger . It's a shame he then turned into the joker and then died... :/

  17. I love Titanic, and it's so very, very sad. I've always been fascinated by Titanic in general. Such a sad, sad tragedy.

LOVE 10 Things I Hate About You, too!!! Miss Heath. :(

  18. It's been a long time since I visited you.. sorry for my absence..

I love Tinatic but i agree that it shouldn't be a three hour movie. I already watch The Hunger Games and I loved it, some people don't. I missed the Vow but I'll just download it.

I also watched 10 things several times. I love that film.

Good luck on your mock driving test. I think by this time it's over.. hehe..

  19. Ruhani: Hahaha, well it was good, but I wouldn't watch it again :P The ending was pretty genius though :)

    Confused Soul: Mhm, exactly.
I watched The Vow a few days ago and loved it :D

    She scribbles: Thanks :)

    Aliza: You hate it? :O
Oh you didn't get the ending? Google it! The ending was actually my favourite part because it makes you think!

Haze: In elementary? Wow that's a long time ago.
Hahaha, yeah Remember me was pretty boring at first.
But 10 things is the best :D

Jela: haha... yup. It was different from all the other movies I've watched, but deifnitely not my type.

    Ellen: Yes, do watch!

Twefrence: Weird reading about your excitement for Hunger Games, AFTER we've watched it :P
Yessss. You have to watch 10 things I hate about you!!
Yes, I know, you busy person :P

Cyn: Hahahaha. That made me laugh :P
I guess Titanic is not really appropriate for 8 years olds.
Yup, HG is a trilogy. And there's going to be three separate movies :)

Hazel: Hahaha. Well, if she moved over the thing would probably topple over. And even if it didn't the weight of both of them would make it sink :P

G: Well, it IS an unnecessarily long movie.
    Thanks :)

Miss Komal: Nope, not amazing :P
    Hahaha, yup, bas okay :P
Not sure if movie buff or if I just have too much free time!

Nil: How many times have you watched it? O.O
    Thanks :)

    Bessy: Yup!

    TayTay: Just watch it!
We have the same opinions :D

    Meli: Haha yupp <3

    Frisky Virgin: Miss Heath too!

    Mayen: Aw, it's ok.

  20. 10 Things I Hate About You ....... rocks ;)

  21. First fact, I've never watched the whole movie of Titanic. In fact, its always when the ship starts to sink.

Second fact, I have this thing of not wanting to jump on any bandwagons when its all hyped up already. Hence my reluctance to read the series and watch the Hunger Games. Maybe in a year.

Third fact, I cry when she reads the poem in Ten Things I Hate about You. Its so sweet and Heath is dead.

    1. I feel like I should have done that too, the two hours before the ship sinks is pretty boring.

Ahh, well all I can say is read the books first :)

      I cried too :(

  22. is it the same titanic, now in 3d?

heard here at atrium they haf made some fabricated ship to have that titanic theme

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yup the same one. The 3d re-release is just the same movie but in 3d.

    Oooh really? That's pretty cool!

  24. Yes, Titanic should've been shorter xD I'm sure that there are other movies that have been longer and well worth the 3 hours (*ahem* Lord of the Rings, anyone?). As for the other movies - EPICUS! I've yet to see The Vow, though. That chick has had amnesia in two of her most famous movies now, anyway... pretty interesting, but yeah. xD Pretty funny to point at.

Also - YES, HEATH LEDGER! May he live on always ♥

    1. Hahaha ACTUALLY, I've never watched Lord of the Rings :P And I don't really want to, especially now that I know it's 3 hours long!

LOL, yes. Love Rachel McAdams <3

      Heath Ledger too ♥

  25. I like Titanic, but I guess it's not for everyone! Leonardo is definitely one of the best parts of that movie haha. Good luck with the novel. I'm writing one as well! :D

  26. I watched Titanic, but not through the whole thing though. Still, I liked the earlier parts of the story and feel that it's very beautiful. Plus, Leonardo diCaprio looks rather cute and boyish XD
